Born Lydia Kamakaeha to the Kalakaua dynasty Sept 2 1838. She became princess Liliuokalani April 1877 and named as heir to the throne of her brother King David Kalakaua.King Kalakaua died January 29 1891 leaving the throne to Liliuokalani. She was the last monarch to reign as the kingdom of Hawaii was illegally over thrown by a group of American business men that inlisted the aide of the U.S. Navy which was moored in Honolulu bay.
Liliuokalani was born Lydia Kamakaeha. She received her new name from her brother King David Kalakaua after she was named his heir. Lydia fits on any seat at least 3/4 of inch high.
