B.F. Dillingham

1:20.3

B.F. Dillingham was borned in 1844 and died in 1918. He started the Oahu Railway as well as other railways on the other Islands. He was instrumental in organizing financing, planing and improving railroad operations on the Island of Oahu. He was also a great support of the Hawaiian Monarchy and was one of the few whites to disagree with the overthrow and annexation. I have created this 1:20.3 scale minature sculpture to commeorate his contributions to the rich history of Hawaii.
I have to confess that I did not expect to get this type of detail on a 3.62 inch figure. I got a lot of inspiration from other figure makers and painters at My Large Scale Dot Com.
This was reworked from a casting of an original plasticine piece. The orignal piece has a hat. This piece does not. I am planing on redoing the hat and recasting the whole line.
